>> Dottie is one of seven American women to be juried into the international "Art on Paper" exhibition sponsored by the Kelekian Art Gallery, in Beirut, Lebanon. This exhibition was held at the Sharjah Art Museum, United Arab Emirates during December 2005. The Sharjah Art Museum has acquired "Orchard" for its permanent museum collection.
>> "Our Future Is Our Past" - Quilters of SC show, Aiken, South Carolina, 2001, where "Twilight Garden Rain" was awarded the "Excellence In Machine Quilting Award" and "Third Place in Art Quilts: Professional" -- and -- "A Touch of Amidon" was also awarded an "Honorable Mention Award".
>> "When One Door Closes ..." was selected as one of forty art works by South Carolina artists for the "1st Annual South Carolina State Museum Juried Traveling Art Exhibit" - November 1998 - November 1999.
>> At the 1998 South Carolina State Fair in Columbia, South Carolina "Twilight Garden Rain" was awarded a "First Place Blue Ribbon" and the "Judges Special Recognition Award". "The Blue Table" was also awarded a "First Place Blue Ribbon".
>> 2nd and 3rd Place Awards for fiber and pottery artworks at the 1983 NSC Arts and Crafts Show, Lisle, Illinois.
