Machine pieced. Quilting was done using the machine free-motion technique.
Materials:
Commercial
batik and cotton fabrics were used. Threads used were nylon
invisible thread, cotton and rayon threads (Sulky, Isacord, and
Maderia). Batting used was Thermore polyester batting.

Exhibitions:
Both "Keiko's
Pond" and "Happiness
Is ..." were seen in the invitational Keiko
and Friends: Art Quilts exhibit. The "Keiko and Friends:
Art Quilts" exhibit featured artwork by contemporary Japanese
quilt artists, Keiko Goke and Mariko Akizuki, as well as works by
over 50 international quilt artists. The exhibit
was hosted by the Kavanagh
Gallery, March 4 - April 23, 2005, at the Fine Line Creative
Art Center, St. Charles, IL.
